Robert H. Johnson, Esq.

​Robert H. Johnson is Of Counsel with McDowell Law, where he concentrates his practice in bankruptcy, insolvency, and creditors’ rights matters. With over two decades of experience, he represents individuals, businesses, trustees, creditors, lenders, and landlords in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Subchapter V, and Chapter 13 matters, as well as related restructurings and insolvency litigation.

Prior to joining McDowell Law, Robert founded and managed his own bankruptcy law practice after practicing with a respected boutique bankruptcy firm in northern New Jersey. He is known for providing practical, strategic counsel and personalized client service.

Robert earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Camden and served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Hayser of the New Jersey Tax Court. He is a former member of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Inn of Court and has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Outside the office, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. He is a sports enthusiast who enjoys basketball, golf, and cheering on his daughters in their athletic pursuits.
